Elemental Competition, Chile

Main intention:
- Creating a lowcost, high quality housing system.
- Giving inhabitants and context flexibility and individuality.

The primary construction, of reinforced concrete, supports 4 dwellings in their various stages of expansion.

The secondary construction, of a frame structure in steel or wood, is easy to ad on when expanding.

The roof of corrugated iron plates, supported by a leightweight woodstructure, is easy to hoist during expansion

Openings in the roof, to control inner climate and give light.

Any material is possible for walls, chosen for either economic or aesthetic reasons.
